Platform

From physical signal to prioritized action.

Lumicent is the Decision Intelligence platform for physical operations.

The platform continuously captures what is happening across critical physical assets, detects meaningful changes in condition, connects those changes to asset and business context, evaluates their potential consequences, and determines what deserves attention first.

Physical signal → context → intelligence → consequence → priority → action

Most operational systems solve one part of that chain. Sensors collect data. SCADA monitors processes. EAM and CMMS manage assets and work. Inspection programs provide periodic visibility. Lumicent connects those inputs into a continuous decision layer that answers a different set of questions:

  • What is changing?
  • Is the change meaningful?
  • What does it put at risk?
  • How much does it matter?
  • What should we act on first?

Instead of treating every deviation as equally important, Lumicent progressively adds intelligence as data moves through the stack. Raw signals become contextualized asset information. Asset information becomes evidence of meaningful change. Meaningful change is weighted by potential consequence. Consequence becomes priority. Priority becomes action.

The result is not another stream of telemetry, alarms or dashboards to interpret. It is a continuously updated view of emerging physical risk—ranked by what could have the greatest operational and business impact.

Lumicent is software-first, with sensing infrastructure designed to give the software direct, continuous visibility into the physical world. Hardware captures the evidence. Software creates understanding. Intelligence establishes priority. People make better decisions.

And because Lumicent operates as a decision layer rather than a replacement for the operational stack, organizations can deploy it independently and then enrich it with SCADA, ERP, EAM, CMMS and other systems where doing so adds value.

How the stack works

Each layer adds intelligence the layer beneath it cannot provide.

  • Decision Center — Explanation, interaction and delivery → Decisions and action
  • Decision Intelligence — Comparison and prioritization → Ranked risk and recommended focus
  • Consequence Intelligence — Consequence and criticality → Consequence-weighted risk
  • Signal Intelligence — Statistical and ML interpretation → Meaningful anomalies, patterns and trends
  • Asset Graph & Context Lake — Asset, operational and business context → Structured, asset-aware data
  • Edge Sensing & Secure Transport — Continuous, secure observation → Authenticated telemetry
  • Physical Assets — Real-world operating condition → Physical signals

Works with the systems you already have

Lumicent adds intelligence. It does not replace your operational stack.

Lumicent is designed to complement existing OT and enterprise systems rather than require organizations to replace them.

Its own sensing and intelligence infrastructure allows the platform to operate independently. Existing systems can then provide additional context or receive Lumicent intelligence wherever doing so improves the workflow.

SCADA — Process-control data can be ingested as an additional signal source alongside Lumicent's physical sensing. Role: enrich Signal Intelligence with process context.

ERP / EAM — Asset master data, replacement cost, production role, maintenance history and other enterprise information can enrich the Asset Graph and consequence models. Lumicent can also return risk scores, health attributes and consequence rankings to existing systems. Role: bring enterprise context into the intelligence model without making ERP or EAM the intelligence engine.

CMMS — Decision Intelligence outputs can feed prioritized risk and work requirements into existing maintenance workflows and work-order systems. Role: translate Lumicent priority into the systems teams already use to execute work.

The architecture supports three modes of interoperability:

  • Ingest — bring useful enterprise or operational context into Lumicent.
  • Enrich — return health, risk and consequence intelligence to existing systems.
  • Execute — pass prioritized decisions into systems such as CMMS where work is managed.

Integration is therefore additive rather than foundational. The system of record stays the system of record. Lumicent provides the decision intelligence between evidence and action.
