Edge Sensing and Secure Transport
Lumicent's sensing and edge infrastructure is the physical-data acquisition layer of the platform. Intelligent sensors attach directly to monitored assets. Secure edge gateways receive their signals and transport encrypted, authenticated data to the Lumicent cloud. The architecture is designed to operate out-of-band, independently of production control networks.
What it does
Lumicent continuously captures physical conditions such as vibration, temperature, movement and other measurable characteristics across monitored assets.
That creates 24/7 visibility between manual inspection rounds and gives the intelligence engine a continuous stream of physical evidence to analyze.
The sensing layer can operate without connecting directly into SCADA, ERP, MES or other production systems.
