Co-founder and CEO of Lumicent, Andy brings more than two decades of experience across industrial operations, technology, and digital transformation.

Andy is the co-founder and CEO of Lumicent, the first company to bring decision intelligence to industrial operations. Lumicent's solution uses data analytics, machine learning, and physical AI to turn early asset warning signals into prioritized action, reducing risk and helping prevent expensive downtime.

Prior to Lumicent, Andy served as Vice President of Technology at a leading agricultural manufacturing company and led enterprise-wide digital transformation as Director of Business Transformation at a major softwood lumber organization. His experience spans mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing, where he has delivered scalable, resilient solutions that bridge operations and technology.

Andrew holds a B.Sc. in Management of Information Systems from Middlesex University in the UK and Arcadia University in the US, and completed the Advanced Management Program at MIT.

Charles is a recognized leader in the Microsoft partner community, particularly within Microsoft Business Applications. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at a mid-sized consulting firm that evolved from a Dynamics 365 consultancy into a B2B SaaS provider serving higher education and public-sector organizations.

Charles holds a B.Comm in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Alberta and serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for JazzYYC. He also enjoys playing and studying jazz piano.

Lachlan serves as Vice President of Software Development at Lumicent. Lumicent's Asset Risk Management system is the first Class II Condition Monitoring IoT system fully certified by FM Approvals.

Before joining Lumicent, Lachlan worked as an Operations Manager specializing in industrial recycling, with a focus on optimizing systems for sustainability. He also worked as a Design & Production Developer and Systems Developer with a leading global agricultural manufacturing company.

Lachlan has extensive experience developing solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and holds a degree in Integrated Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

Jeff Thomas is a veteran technology marketing executive with more than two decades of experience building categories, repositioning companies, launching new products and turning differentiated narratives into growth. He has held senior marketing leadership roles at Salesforce, HP, Flexport, Sisense, Sitecore and other enterprise technology companies, and has worked extensively with emerging AI, data, robotics and industrial technology businesses.

As CMO of Salesforce Platform, Jeff unified four brands under a single platform strategy, repositioned the business around CIO and CTO value, and helped scale ARR approximately fivefold. At Periscope Data, later acquired by Sisense, marketing generated roughly 75% of pipeline while the company sustained approximately 100% ARR growth. Earlier, he helped create a new enterprise software category at Apcera, contributing to roughly 10× ARR growth and its acquisition by Ericsson.

More recently, Jeff has served as fractional or interim CMO for companies across AI, Physical AI, robotics, industrial technology and data, helping leadership teams sharpen positioning, build go-to-market systems and bring new categories to market. His work combines brand and narrative strategy with demand generation, product marketing and revenue execution—a focus he brings to Lumicent as the company establishes Decision Intelligence for physical operations.

Robert is an accomplished Canadian business executive, investor, and board member with extensive experience in strategic leadership and economic value creation. His expertise spans board governance, capital markets, risk management, and operational oversight across entrepreneurial ventures and large, complex organizations.

He spent nearly two decades as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Clearnet Communications and TELUS Corporation. His board experience includes serving as Chair of Audit and Risk Committees at Definity Financial, HSBC Bank Canada, RSA Canada, and Entertainment One.

Robert has also served on the Board of Trustees of Queen’s University, where he was recognized with the Trustee Emeritus designation. He chairs the UBC Information Technology Advisory Council and serves as National Academic Director and Lead Instructor for the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Enterprise Risk Oversight for Directors course.

He has also been active in public policy and community service, including serving as Chair of the Greater Vancouver Advisory Board of The Salvation Army.

Anne is also a founding member and Director of the Mining Security Working Group, where she has helped shape approaches to global mining security.

Passionate about education and community involvement, Anne established an endowment at Simon Fraser University and has supported organizations and initiatives including The Street Angels Society in Brazil, The Stand Foundation, Mining for Miracles, and the United Way.
